1. How did you end up becoming a Tromette?
Actually it was my ex-boyfriend Dan that got me into Troma in the first place. Lloyd was coming into town for the Pittsburgh Troma fest and we met him at the Oaks Theater. He asked me if i could be a local tromette for the weekend, so i did and it was a lot of fun. He is a very cool guy to work with. 2. What was one of your first Tromatic experiences? My first tromatic experience was a small appearance in Troma's TV show, Troma's Edge TV. I sent them some pictures to be Tromette of the Month and a couple days later, they just asked me if i would like to go to New York to be on the TV show. The pictures never made it up, but i'm in the horror episode at the very end for like 2 minutes.... i think that i have maybe two lines, three if i'm lucky. But it was really neat to see how everything was done. 3. Do you plan on working with Troma anymore in the future? I have no plans as of now to work with Troma in the future, but I would love to. I have wanted to act since I was eight years old, and it would be amazing to work with them on a film or something like that. I have been watching their movies since i was in the third grade when USA Up All Night used to play Class of Nuke Em' High and The Toxic Avenger and stuff like that. We used to think that we were so bad staying up and watching movies like that. Little kids are funny. Then i kind of forgot about Troma until i was about fifteen. That's when i rediscovered their films. 4. What are your favorite Troma movies? My favorite Troma movies... hmmmm... I would have to say Terror Firmer is my favorite. I also like Citizen Toxie, the first Toxic Avenger, and Tromeo and Juliet. I mean they are all so good it's hard to pinpoint a few, but I also like Buttcrack and Dead Dudes in the House. Oh, and who could forget Bloodsucking Freaks. 5. Favorite non-Troma movies? My favorite non-Troma movies are Donnie Darko, Pumpkin, Ghost World, anything by John Waters, and Asian movies such as Wild Zero and Bio Zombie. The whole Asian horror genre is also very dark and twisted. They make some of the best movies. They are really fucked up and make you think. The Evil Dead Trap is really good and so is Audition. 6. Favorite music? Some of my favorite bands include The Clash, The Ramones, Thug Murder, The New York Rel-X, Vice Squad, The Buzzcocks, One Man Army, The Distillers... and the list goes on and on. I mostly listen to punk, with a few exceptions like The Cure, Veruca Salt, and Nirvana. 7. Anything else you'd like to mention? Right now i'm into getting tattoos, hanging out and watching b-movies, and working with Kiss of Death Productions. We just finished my scene for their movie Meat For Satan's Icebox, which has a cameo by Lloyd in it,(the movie, not my scene). It's going to be a great flick and it will be premiering at the Rex Theater the day after Thanksgiving. If anyone will be in Pittsburgh they should check it out, it's gonna be a good time. I have been working with the Silvio's for a little over a year now. I have been in a few of their short films and they actually took my Tromette of the Month pictures for me. They are awesome people and i have a lot of fun working with them. I hope i can continue doing so. |
