Jim Fhelleps's marriage is going down the tubes and the only thing keeping him afloat in his life is his love for his daughter Heather. Until one night, when a car crash leads to the death of Heather and handicaps his wife. Now, saddened and only companied by his wife and her disability, Jim finds himself tortured by hallucinations of his daughter, telling him that god is keeping her from him.
