Shark is part of the Troma "Before they were stars" collection. It was directed by Samuel Fuller and stars Burt Reynolds. It was made in 1969 so you would expect Burt Reynolds to look young but he doesn't he still looks old. He plays Kane, a gun smuggler who's truck loses it brakes while he is running from some cops who he blows up with dynomite. The truck crashes and Kane is stuck in shizzy sand people town. He gets a hotel from this big fat ass and becomes partners in crime with a young cigar smoking shirtless boy. He finds a diving job and there is all this gold and this chick and of coarse a shark. Apparently a diver died during the filming of the underwater shots. I fell asleep during the climax but I know it had something to do with the shark. This movie has the feel of a crappy italian crime flick and I like that.
