Review: They Call Me Macho Woman!
Reviewed by: Justin Channell

Ahhh, you gotta love Tromatic re-titling.  This little 1980s action movie was originally titled Savage Instinct, until Troma got their hands on it and changed the title to They Call Me Macho Woman!  Some might say that the original title fits the film better, while others say that the Tromatic title is better.  However, most will just agree that though the film is watchable, it's not particularly great.

To sum up the film quickly, a woman is taken prisoner by a group of crazed drug manufacturers and takes revenge to escape.  That's actually pretty much the whole film.  It's your typical 80s action cheese, but if you enjoy that, it's damned worth watching.  I'll be completely honest, there's really not too much story to go around, but if you enjoy watching a woman kick some ass with various interesting methods and a lot of b-movie errors.

I know this is a really quick review of They Call Me Macho Woman!, but to be honest, it's not a great film, but it's worth watching, as long as you enjoy 80s low-budget b-action-movies.
